This was the age when the real growth of motorbikes started and they began to gain popularity among the common people. But previously due to limitations, not much could be done to improve their looks and give them the feel of kids motorbikes.

Only getting a higher performance vehicle was the chief aim. But as the technology became competent, the bikes gained a more showy appearance with attention drawn in improving those features which once were considered accessories. Superbikes were made with 1000cc engine and mega fast speeds of around 200 km/h.

Several companies like Bajaj, TVS, Yamaha and others launched cheap bikes with better average. This was the time when bike was used as a necessity.

Using the launch of splendor in about 1998 by Hero Honda, style also came into picture and attention of customers shifted. Now through this time bikes with favorable looks, style and performance became the primary thought of customer preference. Hence it truly is very visible that Indian markets followed the trend of transformation to kids motorbikes with style and speed as an alternative to typical and expense getting clear cut preference these days.
