The thought of going to a beach, usually impress the mind for almost everybody. Putting aside all our hectic routine, all of us enjoy spending some precious time at the beach. The music of the waves rushing to and fro on the sandy shore and a glimpse of the ships sailing a long way away, and all those factors related to nature just sink into our being. It seems to bring back such vitality into ourselves, that we can resume our routine with increased energy. Regardless of their location, beaches are loved by all.
Italy is also a country well-known for its lovely beaches. The region of Liguria has a beautiful landscape of beaches. It is popularly known as Italian Riviera across the world. Located in the northern part of Italy, it is a lovely strip of coastal land with amazing beauty.
Typically when one reviews about touring Italy a great deal of attention is paid to the cuisine and the rich cultural heritage that Italy has to offer. Up until recently very few people knew that Italy had some outstanding naturally attractive places that are true tourist havens.
The Italian Riviera is not a new discovery mind you. The region had developed a niche tourism market several years ago but today it is a full fledge getaway for nature pleasure seekers. A great deal of development has occurred to with the large influx of seasonal tourists that the region receives.
You will find awesome hotels, apartments, villas and beach houses that are available for rent to the tourists. Many old classical buildings have been transformed into rentable places that offer the people an incomparable experience.
Beaches of Italian Riviera are the center of attraction for any traveler. The broad coastline with sandy shores along the bright blue sea appears wonderful. The real splendor of the beach is the presence of the coastal cliffs and the several cloves. These cloves and cliffs differentiate the Italian Riviera beaches from the usual beaches found anywhere else.
As if all this natural beauty of the region was not enough to attract the globe trotters, Italian Riviera is surrounded by small towns that have a great deal to offer to the public. These small towns have developed vacation rental facilities and it is here that the tourists come and stay.
Adventurous people can take to hiking through one of the trails in Cinque Terre village, and have some exciting experience. The main town of Portofino has a huge rush of tourists. The Port of Genoa is also a busy place in the mid-coastal area. Plenty of exploration can be done in the Genoa Port which is an old port of historical significance.
Therefore we see that the Italian Riviera beaches have a lot more to provide to the tourists than simply the opportunity to embezzle in the white sands. You have the cliffs and cloves and the chance to intermingle with the people of the nearby towns and visit the port city as well.
